Actually I thought he handled that uncomfortable situation quite well. The question was why wasn't anybody doing something to get Obama out of government and the answer was he was working on doing just that with his campaign for President.
We all know there are a number of vocal people on the fringes on both sides of the political spectrum. There isn't anything you can say or do to dissuade them from thier beliefs and dogma, so why bother to try? Better to keep focus on the issues which are truly important and move the subject of the debate to highlight the distinct differences in the proposed solutions that the two parties have to offer. Let's face it, the differences can't possibly be more stark.
Calling undue attention to what some unknown whack job has to say when a candidate happens to be standing in the room only adds to the noise. I happen to disagree with Santorum on a number of his policy positions, but I doubt very highly Santorum believes Obama is an avowed muslim. Not issuing a public smack down to someone who says diffently doesn't really change that, does it? If this happened in a town meeting with a member of congress who happened to be a Democrat would you be seeing it on CNN or posting it on your blog?
Sorry John, but this sort of distraction is most annoying. We have more important problems to discuss as a nation, don't you agree?
We are responsible pet owners. We neuter all the cats that we share our lives with. Buster is a gentle loving cat. He was very playful with his male cat buddy Twinkie (our original cat) and gets along with the older male cat Pickles. However Twinkie got ill and passed on. We tried to introduce another male cat "Sam" but that was disastrous. Buster was very aggressive to the poor guy. Finally poor Sam went outside one evening and never returned. He may have been a victim of a Fisher Cat attack. When my daughter moved into an apartment that didn't allow pets we ended up with a neutered female cat "Paris". She is a feisty little thing and Buster hates her. He's attacked her and has picked up the very disgusting habit of spraying around the house. Besides convincing us that we will never own another male cat, I tried a few remedies. After chasing him around with a spray bottle (taste of his own medicine) I decided that negative responses is going to work...
Today I managed to receive not one but two blatantly racist emails about Obama. I find this repulsive. I won't honor these with a link or reference. Granted they did not come directly from his campaign but the recent "rallies" with his pit bull VP choice aren't helping. When you see people in the crowd shouting "terrorist" and "Kill him" you just have to say, where is the McCain of 2000? Where are you John? Let's see Barack HUSSEIN Obama hangs out with a terrorist when he was 8. Omigod can we trust him? What absolute crap. Where is John circa 2000? Of course this has to be the strategy of a person who needs to change the subject as the economy implodes. The republicans love to channel Ronald Reagan who felt that "government was the problem". Just let everything work itself out. What a great idea. Deregulation.. that's the ticket. I get a real kick about the complaints about the "Tax and Spend" liberals. Ahem, the money ...
Don't really like to bash a business, but this one stepped out of line with a friend of mine. Watch the video and decide. If the company makes an attempt to alleviate the situation or even to apologize, I will delete this posting and pull the video.
