I'm trying to head off a torrent of "reply to all" family emails about a CBS poll which shows how Obama gets a failing grade for his first year in office, so I decided to post the link on this blog so folks can weigh in as they seem fit. A link to the poll can be found by clicking here . A disclaimer mentions that it is not a scientific poll, demonstrating how CBS can save money by not hiring a polling agency. It also demonstrates the current state of "journalism" I think I'll add a poll for myself, not really that hard. Go ahead, weigh in! I moderate this blog, so be civil.

Surprise surprise.... we haven't be getting the full tax story. In the interest of fairness I'm including a link to a comparison of the 2 plans. This won't affect my vote, but the Obama has the higher tax plan and the dread "redistribution of wealth". I have an issue about both candidates support of the H1-B visa program which has been a threat for my employment for quite a while. Both candidates support this program which addresses the "problem" of not having enough skilled American workers. It allows employers to hire "foreign" workers to fill this supposed lack of skilled workers. These workers come at a great cost savings for companies and correspond with layoffs. Since many of the comments have been directed at the idea of re-distribution of wealth via the tax policy of Obama. I have provided links to the various websites of the candidates on the right side of this blog. The question of socialism should probably include the staggering $700 billion bail out and the additional $140 billion added by Congress for all kinds of fun projects. Whew.... that's a lot of debt to eat.... I'll remove the calculator links after the election. After that it'll be too late
